The Stacy-Lent area volunteer Fire Department has been in existence since 1947, starting with 20 charter members and has grown to over 35 active members. Stacy-Lent Fire Department covers approximately 36 square miles in addition to mutual aid agreements with surrounding communities

The Fire Department is committed to providing responsible service in an open, effective and efficient manner to all citizens of the local and area community. The ultimate goal is to preserve and enhance the quality of life for future generations.

The mission of the Fire Department is to minimize loss of life and property from fires, natural disasters and life threatening situations and to assist other emergency agencies.

It is our vision to be known as an innovative and progressive Fire Department. We are dedicated to the delivery of effective fire suppression, rescue services and quality fire/safety education to the public. We strive to offer the best available education and training to our members. We are committed to providing an environment which fosters teamwork among members and desire to have an atmosphere of open communication, which promotes the health and welfare of individual members.
