October is National Fire Prevention month. In honor of National Fire Prevention month the Stacy-Lent area Fire Department holds an annual Open House the first Saturday in October from 10:00am till 1:00pm to enhance fire prevention within the community.
The Open House is a family fun day at the Stacy-Lent area Fire Department. The Stacy-Lent area Fire Department encourages community families to come to the Fire Department to familiarize their selves with the equipment used in fire prevention, fire rescue, and fire safety. The Open House includes food, beverages, family fun and goody bags for the children.
